  1. The first award was an Honorable mention in the Best Film category - the Jury’s verdict:

“Subtle, deep, touching and full of authentic life. Convincing acting.”

  2. The second award for the film “False Start”, THE HOUR GLASS (10.000 Norwegian Kroners), awarded by the Norwegian Playwrights’ Association was given to Krzysztof Sliwka for the best screenplay - the Jury’s verdict:

“The Norwegian Playwrights’ Association chose a film that touches difficult matters. The writer skillfully creates refined dramatic scenes and is able to move his audience. The film deeply penetrates the psychology of the characters, what keeps our attention from the very first scenes. The story awarded this year is a story about rebuilding what is lost, accepting one's past and finding the courage to go on alone”.

“False Start” was shot on location in Oslo by a Polish-Norwegian crew. The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Warsaw was patron to the project.
