Review in Grimstad Short Film Festival Magazine (Norway):
“This portrait documentary shows the story of a man’s life and captures it in the present. In contrast to biographies that shows the history of a person from birth to death, this film presents a person in present tense. Leiv Igor Devold’s The Journalist is an impressive film, in its unpretentious description of a human being. It shows a person’s diginty. (...) The Journalist is a film of a genre that is often used but difficult. However, Devold faces this challenge in an impressive way, making a beautiful and touching film.”
